The Fairy Tale castle - Neuschwanstein

This is a trip I didn't get to make.  Brenda took an USO tour bus and visited the castle after which Walt Disney modeled his Disney Land castle after.  She took some great pictures and gleaned some interesting details about the castle and King Ludwig II that had it built.  She went on this trip in September 2010.

This is the main castle.

The fellow had to live somewhere while he built the big castle.  So he had to put up with this place.
